Here Comes the Sun - Team Theme Challenge Winners

Here comes the sun, little darlings, and it's here to stay. In some parts of the Northern hemisphere and for a few months, at least! The Etsy Expats have been even more industrious than usual this time, as for the first time the number of entries to the challenge surpassed the number of available spots in the treasury. And as if that weren't a felicitous development in itself, we get to crown as many as three winners this time!

The colors of the Sun seduced the voters in Grain's graphic design banner, Artophile's door topper and fabriquefantastique's summer scarf.

Easter Is from the East

As people around the world prepare for the most important Christian holiday in the year, the Easter bunny dragged in two winners from the Etsy Expats team theme challenge EASTER IS FROM THE EAST.

The Etsy Expats drew on their impressive resources once again for a team theme challenge "Green with". Lots have entered, but like with any tournament there can only be one winner. Hopeandvanilla won game, set and match with a lovely fresh green vintage tennis racket brooch:

I Can Almost Smell it - Results of Team Theme Challenge

So many different smells in this treasury and in the end two prevailed. Some people craved glamasaurus' cookies while others smelled a rat by our second-time winner and record-holder fibrous.

After a short break, the first challenge of the month "Let's Celebrate" was unmistakenly won by our creative member moonandlion and her party banner.

Latest Team Challenge Sees TWO Winners

The Etsy Expats keep outdoing themselves. Our last team theme challenge "Miles to Go Before I sleep" was based on a poem by Robert Frost "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening". We had some fantastic entries, in fact all of them have been fantastic. So much that this week's vote turned out two very tactile winners: SamsShennanigans' pink Union Jack cushion and the lovely floral felted shawl by KarensLoom. We applaud you!

Team Theme Challenge: On the Road Again

And the winner is...(drum roll)...Loddelina's cute house key ring. Well done to the Paris-based bag lady (as in the lady who makes beautiful bags and purses that you will find in her shop). She swept away this week's team challenge "On the Road Again", as none of the other contenders came even close to her in the number of votes in favour. 

Next up, brace yourself for the next challenge "Miles to Go Before I Sleep".

Team Theme Challenge: What I Remember of Home

This topic fit the Etsy Expats like a glove. Or as the Slovene expression goes, "it's written on our skins". Who knows better what home means than those who left theirs. This week the Expats reflected on where they come from and where they're at. Out of several beautiful entries, tialys took the cake with her lavender sachets. But svitrolica with her tree, moonandlion with her journal and anakit in her mother's garden certainly gave tialys a run for her money.

WE COULD ALL USE SOME - Weekly Team Theme Challenge

Another week, another need. The Etsy Expats know exactly what we all need. The winner of this week's "We Could All Use Some" challenge was the charming little moustache man by LauraGourmel, a fresh face among the Expats. He simply swept us ladies off our feet. But the voting was tight till the end, almost as tight as on Australia's Next Top Model, as LKADesign fought for the top position with all her heart!

Ready, steady, go! Next week's topic has been announced: "What I Remember of Home". Who better than the expats to know the home is where the heart is.

The star this week was definitely Tangentine's copper cuff. The elegant star constellation led the way for most votes. Moonandlion's Star of the Parade tagged behind in second place.

Results of Team Theme Challenge: YOU MAY KISS THE BRIDE

In honour of our beloved nicolehill's wedding, last week the team faced a theme challenge "You May Kiss the Bride".  All the results fit nicely in an Etsy treasury. After several torn votes this week's winner was uniquenique with its unique (nomen est omen!) and incredibly beautiful crocheted bracelet.
